ShipMonk

Third-party fulfillment for Shopify brands: pick, pack, ship, and returns from a national warehouse network

ShipMonk provides fulfillment services for D2C ecommerce brands.

ShipMonk runs pick, pack, ship, and returns from a national warehouse network so Shopify brands can stop operating their own warehouse. Best fit for brands self-fulfilling today who are hitting capacity limits, or brands paying retail carrier rates without the volume to negotiate down.

What ShipMonk does for Shopify brands

  • Virtual carrier network aggregates volume across brands for rates solo shippers cannot get
  • 15% blended savings on full shipping spend, 49% on UPS/FedEx 2-Day specifically
  • In-house warehouse labor (pick, pack, label, ship) replaced by ShipMonk's team
  • 99.9% order accuracy vs 98-99% self-fulfillment cuts mis-ships, returns & reship costs

Overview

ShipMonk is a third-party logistics (3PL) provider that stores, packs and ships orders for direct-to-consumer and B2B ecommerce brands. It runs its own order, inventory, transportation and reporting software, so a merchant manages fulfillment, shipping and returns in one system with one team.

For Shopify brands

  • Shopify connects to ShipMonk as a shopping cart integration, so orders and inventory sync without manual order uploads.
  • ShipMonk stores, picks, packs and ships orders, and handles returns, custom packaging and international shipping to 200+ countries.
  • Branded tracking pages, order rules for routing and holds, and reporting dashboards are available in the ShipMonk platform.

How it works

The brand connects its sales channels to ShipMonk through an integration or the Developer API and sends inventory to a ShipMonk warehouse. ShipMonk receives and stores the inventory, then picks, packs and ships orders, and handles returns and claims through its platform. Happiness Engineers answer questions from clients.
