dtcmvp (dtcmvp.com) facilitates product feedback calls between established Shopify brands and startup technology partners. This allows trusted startups to build better companies and allows credible merchants to be compensated for their feedback. Feedback members and startups are vetted.

Origin Story

When I was leading GTM at Tydo, we were going through a pivot and needed a way to validate our new direction from both a product and a positioning standpoint. I looked all over for a modern expert network that could help me with the following:

  • Coordinating affordable Shopify brand introductions for product feedback - and doing this in a way that wasn't overly rigid and impersonal feeling, or added too many steps which drove down participation and show rates.
  • Guiding me and my team on the most effective feedback and product research strategies so that our calls were consistent and made the most use of the time with these valuable experts.
  • Using modern tools to help me organize and extract the feedback for our product and gtm

Why dtcmvp?

After striking out in outsourcing this solution at Tydo, dtcmvp was born. We specifically tailor our expert network to be experience-first and quality focused. After all, there is no network if people take a couple of calls and never want to do it again. dtcmvp makes the scheduling and payment process safe and easy. We handle all coordination, scheduling, payment, and tracking for these meetings while making it as casual as possible for both parties. We layer on additional solutions for both brand and tech partner members by leaning into AI workflows and a more data-centric approach to targeting and planning so that everyone is paired with high quality matches.

How do I join and how many meetings can I take?

Quality is our priority so we are invite only and application based. There is technically no limit but it depends on how many vetted partners are a good fit to give or get your feedback.
