dtcmvp arranges paid feedback calls between people who run Shopify brands and the software vendors who want their opinion. this page says what we collect from you as a brand member, what we do with it, and how to say no. it is written to be read, not signed. last updated September 17, 2026.

what you give us

your name, work email, role and brand when you join, whatever you type into a booking form, and what we need to pay you after a call. we use it to match you with vendors, to run the call, and to send your payment. we do not sell it.

your calls are recorded

a notetaker joins every call. it appears as a participant named dtcmvpete and its video tile says “recording”. we keep the video and a written transcript. the vendor you met gets the transcript and a summary of what you said, so they can act on your feedback instead of taking notes while you talk. that is the reason the call is paid.

who sees it

the vendor you met sees their own call and nothing else, and their agreement with us forbids passing it on. the dtcmvp team sees it to run the network. beyond that we only use what was said in anonymized form: themes across many calls, with names, brands and emails stripped out, in our own content and in reports to vendors. we do not publish or share what you said with your name or your brand attached to it.

how long we keep it

recordings and transcripts are kept until you ask us to delete them. email sean@dtcmvp.com and we will delete the recording and transcript of any call you were on within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.

how to say no

you can join a call without the notetaker. tell us at sean@dtcmvp.com before the call and we will keep it out, or ask the host to remove it once you are on. you can leave the network at any time by replying to any email from us and saying so; we stop matching you and delete your details on request.

website visitors (dtcmvp.com)

when you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. we (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email addresses. you may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting app.retention.com/optout.

you also have the option to opt out of the collection of your personal data in compliance with gdpr by visiting rb2b.com/rb2b-gdpr-opt-out. dtcmvp.com also uses ahrefs web analytics, which records aggregate page views and does not identify individual visitors.
