dtcmvp — vendor email filter

Chrome extension

Stop drowning in cold vendor outreach.

dtcmvp — vendor email filteris a Chrome extension that automatically detects, labels, and manages cold vendor pitches in your Gmail inbox. It runs quietly in the background and surfaces only what's worth your time.

Built for direct-to-consumer brand operators who get hundreds of unsolicited vendor emails per week and need a way to triage them without missing the legitimate conversations.

What it does

  • Scans your Gmail inbox every 5 minutes for new mail (skipping anyone you have an existing conversation with).
  • Classifies cold outreach using a combination of structural signals (unsubscribe links, ESP headers, marketing-template HTML) and an LLM for the ambiguous cases.
  • Surfaces a queue of pending vendor pitches in a Gmail side panel where you can approve, filter, spam, or send a feedback link with one click.
  • Persists your decisions as Gmail filters so future emails from the same senders are auto-actioned at delivery time.

What it doesn't do

  • Read or store the full content of your emails. We only retain a short snippet and metadata for the classification result.
  • Touch emails from people you have an existing relationship with.
  • Send anything on your behalf or compose drafts without your action.
  • Train AI models on your data. LLM classification runs under no-retention enterprise terms.

How to get it

The extension is currently available to brand operators in the dtcmvp network. If you don't already have an invite, apply here and we'll be in touch.
