Overview
eBrands is a commerce operator for consumer brands. It acts as Merchant of Record and Importer of Record and runs channels, logistics, compliance and customer service, so a brand can sell in new markets without setting up local entities. It also provides Apollo, its commerce data platform.
For Shopify brands
- eBrands connects to an existing Shopify store and becomes the legal seller in the EU, UK and US, handling VAT, customs paperwork, returns and channel work.
- Orders, products, variants and stock sync between Shopify and eBrands, with tracking sent back to Shopify and one stock count shared with Amazon and marketplaces.
- eBrands configures Shopify Markets per country with local currency, prices that include VAT and duties, local payment methods and required legal texts, and D2C sales show in Apollo beside other channels.
How it works
After a discovery call, eBrands checks product compliance for each market, then the brand grants store access and eBrands maps products, orders and stock. The first market usually starts selling 14 to 28 days after signing, and nothing goes live without the brand's approval.
- Built for
- Consumer brands from Europe and North America selling across Shopify, Amazon, marketplaces and retail, including food, supplements and cosmetics that need registrations.
- Pricing
- eBrands charges a commission of 7–10% on net sales plus a fixed monthly market or channel fee. Freight, duty, storage and third-party costs are recharged at cost, and media spend passes through with no commission.
