Stripe

A financial services platform for all types of businesses

Stripe provides a financial services platform for all types of businesses.

Overview

Stripe sells payments and financial infrastructure software that businesses use to accept payments, run billing, and manage money. It gives merchants one platform for taking payments online and in person, handling subscriptions and invoices, preventing fraud, and moving money globally.

For Shopify brands

  • Stripe supports payments in 135+ currencies and 100+ payment methods through a single integration, so a brand can sell to customers in many countries.
  • Stripe Radar provides built-in fraud prevention with no integration required, which takes fraud screening off the team.
  • Stripe has powered Shopify Payments for years and also supplied the products behind Shopify Balance, a money management offering for Shopify merchants.

How it works

A brand can set up Stripe without code from the Dashboard, through payment links, or with a pre-integrated platform from Stripe's directory. Teams that want more control build their own integration with Stripe's SDKs and APIs. Stripe also offers professional services, certified consulting partners and tiered support plans for implementation and migrations.
