Overview
Merchkit sells AI software that enriches product data, writes channel-specific product content and publishes listings to marketplaces, retailers and AI shopping channels. It is meant for ecommerce teams whose catalogs have missing or inconsistent attributes and who need to list products across many channels. It is not a traditional PIM: it improves product data rather than only storing it.
For Shopify brands
- Connects to Shopify through a two-way sync, included from the Core plan.
- Extracts attributes from CSVs, PDFs, images, spec sheets and scraped data and fills in missing specs and descriptions across the catalog.

How it works
The brand imports its catalog and supplier data from sources such as CSVs, PDFs, images and APIs. Merchkit scores each SKU against channel requirements, fills and corrects attributes, then generates channel-ready content and syndicates it. An optional $5K Go-Live Onboarding Package runs for 4 weeks with data mapping, enrichment setup, first channel export and team training.
